Beyond the Bug River is a poignant socio-cultural documentary that revisits the past through the eyes of elderly sisters who were exiled from Volhynia as children in the 1940s. The film captures their journey as they return to the places of their childhood, seeking to reconnect with and understand their past. Through their reflections and experiences, the documentary offers a profound exploration of memory, resilience, and the lasting impact of historical trauma.
